At only a five minutes’ walk from our building of touristic apartments located in Gran Vía, you can discover the most iconic square in the city.

It’s considered the absolute centre of the city. Sol is close to all the points of interest in the historic Madrid, and the area that surrounds this plaza offers to the visitors, hundreds of bars, restaurants, hotels, shops, cinemas, and about any service you may need.

Amongst all the people in Puerta del Sol, you can see several interesting places presided by the Royal House of the Post Office. In the central part, in top of the main door you will find the famous clock that every 31st of December signals with its bells the New Year in Spain.
